Make a Difference at St. Stephen's
There are so many ways to make a difference at St. Stephen's.
Here are some of the ways you can be involved!

Rides for the Chauhan Family
We are looking for volunteers to help with transporting the Chauhan family of eight to and from Sunday School and church. What does this involve?

1. Sign up near the Confirmation photos, indicating how many seats you have available and if you want to pick up and/or take home. You may also use the signupgenius http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c054fa5ac22a3fe3-rides
2. Grab a map to tell you where they live (under the sign up), or call for their address.
3. Call them the night before your pick-up date to be certain there are passengers able to join you.
3. Arrive at Chauhan home about one half hour prior to the beginning of worship (or Sunday School).
4. Do not worry about car seats. They have them and know how to install them in your vehicle.
Even if you have only 2 or 3 extra seats, we need you because the space adds up. Thanks for your help!

Coffee Hosts Needed
Brewing a few pots of coffee and putting out some cookies makes an enormous difference for the fellowship of St. Stephen's. Can you help share this important responsibility? We're looking to increase our list of Fellowship Hosts!

Music Opportunities
Come Join Us!
One of the many ways of giving to the church is to share your time and talents. Please consider being a part of music ministry at St. Stephen's by joining the choir, leading our singing, or playing an instrument. Consider lending your worship-singing, guitar strumming, bass-plucking, keyboard-tickling, drum set playing talents during this year's second Sunday service (11:00 in Agape.) Let Rebecca rebecca@ststlc.net or Fred Hoff know if you are willing to get into the volunteer rotation!

Join a Team or a Committee!
The Ministry Board interacts with working groups of the congregation to refresh and support a variety of member time and talent contributions. Ministry Teams (created by interest and necessity) and Committees (created by bylaws or constitution) adopt Mission Statements which are reviewed by the Board in order to help YOU find the place where the Spirit may be calling you to serve.

Worship And Arts: To the greater glory of God and to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, the St. Stephen’s Worship and Arts Ministry Team endeavors to help enhance the worship experience by identifying and resolving issues that affect congregational worship, and by exploring and expanding innovative ways to enhance the worship experience through the fine arts. The team will help facilitate and support arts-based opportunities to expand the outreach and goodwill of St. Stephen’s to our members and the larger community.

The
St. Stephen's Technology Team exist to define resources, infrastructure, and document processes to keep our use of technology current and to provide a method of change control and advice. The team will be a resource for environmental technologies, including Building and Grounds, phones, computers (both hardware and software related), peripherals, internet, sounds and video systems, and other administrative needs.

The purpose of the S
t. Stephens Member Involvement Team is three-fold:
1) To provide information and orientation to assist people to make an informed decision about joining with the mission of St. Stephen's through membership, and
2) To provide a structure to welcome new members and foster their continuing involvement in the congregation, and
3) To give attention in an evangelical fashion to members whose involvement has decreased.

In response to God’s love, acceptance, and forgiveness of us, we are called to act with love, justice, and mercy toward others, honoring the dignity of all persons. The purpose of the
Food Pantry is to manage the donations and finances in such a way as to fulfill Christ’s charge to feed the hungry. The food pantry also provides volunteer opportunities to enable growth in faith and expression of that faith through service to others. We achieve our mission by providing short-term support with nutritious food, treating all users and volunteers with dignity, and being good stewards of God’s abundant gifts.

The
Finance Committee duties include: Proposing a budget for Ministry Board review, providing for audits of the accounts of the congregation, overseeing congregational investments and insurance programs, monitoring the financial condition of the congregation, and appointing a financial secretary who shall provide accurate records and reports of congregation contributions.

The Buildings And Grounds Committee sees to the proper maintenance and the protection of all property.
